The Harewood and Hugo shirts
Worn proudly by both country squires and city gents, our shirts have become a true British favourite. The combination of our finest quality shirtmaking with the very highest quality fabric, its generous cut and the long tails which always stay tucked in means they are a pleasure to wear and a deserved bestseller.
This season we have introduced two new designs, the Harewood and the Hugo.
The Harewood is woven in our signature brushed cotton quality. Justin, head of design at Cordings explains “we felt there was a need for a plain shirt in the collection, but wanted to add a design with some weave interest, so felt a classic herringbone was the answerl. We have selected three colours, a classic blue which works well with the casual elements of our collection and can be worn in a dressed down fashion with our English Jeans. The soft red works with our tweed jackets whilst the olive blends with the subtle hues of the countryside making it our new grouse shirt
The Hugo is a smart medium sized check, in three traditional colourways. “We found this design whilst looking through the Cordings archives, and felt that the size of the pattern was a good addition to our tattersall collection” says Justin “We were inspired by the new colours in our trouser collection as inspiration for the overcheck colours, we have used cinnamon, cobalt blue and olive, which will also sit well with our new tweed jackets and knitwear”.
The new shirts are now available to buy online or in our two stores.
