Please allow a further 2 working days on all destinations, including pick up from store, if alterations are required. Additionally, please allow an additional 2 working days on all destinations during busy periods. Please also note: goods ordered after 12.00 hrs will be shipped the following day.
Customers outside of the EU will NOT be charged UK VAT tax (at the current rate) however LOCAL GOVERNMENT AND IMPORT DUTIES may be levied on any goods dispatched by post and are payable by the customer upon receipt of your goods, these costs are non-refundable by Cordings, as they are out of our control. If any parcel is returned to us due to customs charges being higher than expected, we reserve the right to deduct from your refund any cost we incur. Please note: in rare circumstances, we may fulfill your order from our two shops, if this is the case the order will be sent via two different courier companies, one of which does not offer text alerts on the status of your delivery. Orders will be charged using your selected currency, the exchange rate is set using the daily exchange rate.
We use DPD for our UK deliveries.
Once we have shipped your parcel, DPD will send you a text or email notification confirming a one hour delivery window plus a host of rescheduling options both the night before and on the day of delivery. You can let DPD know to leave the parcel in an assigned safe place, delivery to a specific neighbour, collect from a pick up shop and even change the address and delivery day.

Please note: We ask that all items are returned, no later than 14 days after delivery, in a saleable condition. You are responsible for the costs of returning goods to us. We would recommend for your own protection that you use a recorded delivery service. If you are returning a sale item, we can only offer store credit unless the goods are faulty. Items excluded from our goodwill returns policy include gift cards, altered/hemmed items (including hemmed trousers and covert coats with velvet collar), boxer shorts and socks. Refunds are based on the Sterling price, and are determined using the daily exchange rate. This can fluctuate from the price originally charged.
If you are returning goods from outside the EU please read the following carefully:
Many items that are returned to us get held up at customs due to incorrect labelling resulting in substantial customs charges and in some cases goods being returned to the sender (you). This often occurs to items coming back from the U.S. We are unable to accept, or refund, any such costs associated with return goods levied by customs or carriers. Please label both the outside of the package and the airway bill with the following phrase: ‘BRITISH RETURN GOODS’ This is very important as it prevents you, the customer, being charged any import duty or tax on goods that are simply being returned to the UK for exchange or refund.
