Wine Monty Vintage Linen Jacket JK778-WNEXX

The Cordings 'Monty' Jacket draws inspiration from a vintage workwear item called a 'Chore' jacket which has evolved into a popular and versatile wardrobe staple. Traditionally, these jackets were made from hardwearing twill or canvas fabric that could withstand the rigours of constant use, first appearing in late nineteenth century France and dyed originally using a rich and vibrant French blue. We've used a sturdy red wine panama weave in pure linen, inspired by Monty Don, who regularly sports a similarly styled jacket in his gardening programmes.
