English tailoring is admired and respected all over the world and Cordings is proud to be part of this heritage. Our Cordings’ suits have been perfected on a traditional English block and this Charcoal Grey Birdseye Suit is no exception.
A Birdseye suit takes its name from the distinctive weave used to create the cloth. Rather than being a solid colour, Birdseye fabric is woven with a subtle repeating pattern of tiny diamond or dot shapes, each resembling the eye of a bird when viewed up close.
This weave, traditionally made from worsted wool, gives the fabric an unusual depth: from a distance it appears as a smooth, almost plain surface, but up close it reveals its refined texture.
