How to wash linen shirts?
Linen shirts can often be washed in the washing machine at a cooler temperature. Most Cordings linen shirts can be washed at 30 degrees. Linen should never be bleached or tumble dried as it can significantly weaken the fabric.
How to iron a linen shirt?
Linen shirts should be ironed whilst still slightly damp on a high heat as this will result in the wrinkles ironing out more easily. As with any shirt, you should begin with the collar, before moving onto the shoulders, arms, back then front in that order, making sure not to cause further creases as you go.
Do linen shirts shrink?
Linen can shrink, however Cordings linen shirts are 'pre-washed' during their production in order to shrink them slightly before being sold. This way the chances of linen shrinking in the wash falls dramatically.
