This scarf is an exclusive design printed for Cordings in Macclesfield, England on a wool and silk quality with a hand rolled edge and pin fringed finish. The design is inspired by images first printed in a medieval publication called 'The Book of the Hunt' (Livre de la Chasse) by Gaston Phoebus written in 1387. The unicorn is itself a mythical creature and Scotland’s national animal , it is a symbol of both purity and power.
