Game Fairs are an integral part of the British countryside calendar. An chance to celebrate rural crafts, commerce and creativity; there are many opportunities to witness first hand the skills and achievements that make up the diverse and thriving communities live in rural Scotland.

Set in the beautiful grounds of Scone Palace in Perthshire, on the 30th June and 1st 2nd July, this Fair is set to be a year to remember in the run up to the 30th anniversary in 2018. The lively programme is planned to be bigger and better than ever before with new and exciting developments including the launch of a major new Gun Dog competition.
There’s also going to be big changes to the fishing area as well as a busy Main Ring events schedule, ‘Have A Go’ activities and superb shopping with over 400 traders exhibiting the finest equipment, sporting goods, food, drink, clothing and crafts plus so much more.
The Scottish Game Fair is without doubt a true celebration of rural Scotland helping educate and debate on issues whilst showcasing game, wildlife and countryside management. But, there’s so much more on offer with many visitors returning each year to participate in the Fair’s varied traditional field and country sports competitions.
There are also the many thousands of others who visit for the myriad of ‘Have A Go’ activities and entertainment on offer from fly fishing demos on the Tay to the fun Scurry competition, Clays and Gnat Shooting and more.

Don’t forget the daily cookery demonstrations by top chefs, archery, gun dogs, fox hounds, falconry, the popular Dog and Duck show, Terrier Racing and the respected Fred Taylor Memorial Trophy for Working Hill Ponies and so much more. The packed Food Hall features some of the best produce you’ll find and showcases Scotland’s finest food and drink producers.
