Chestnut Brown Talla Teba Jacket

The Cordings 'Teba' Jacket draws inspiration from a garment initially designed on Savile Row as a shooting cardigan for King Alfonso XIII of Spain. The king gifted it to his great friend the Count of Teba who wore it so much it became synonymous with his name.

Talla tweed, which this jacket is crafted from, is a blend of dyed British wools which are spun locally with a traditional recipe that retains the kempy fibre (course, brittle and chalky hairs found in some British sheep fleeces) and gives the cloth it’s timeless character. The soft shoulder and unnotched lapel give it an easy, relaxed line, while the natural stretch in the cloth and generous cut mean it moves with you, whether you're walking the dog or settling in for a long lunch. Three patch pockets at the front add a practical, rugged touch, finished with neat single-button barrelled cuffs and a single back vent for ease of movement. Inside, a gold bias-bound lining adds a quiet flash of colour.
