Austrian Loden is a densely milled wool cloth with centuries of heritage, woven from the coarse wool of mountain sheep and then fulled, soaked and worked until the surface closes up to repel wind and retain warmth with remarkable efficiency. The Belgravia Top Coat is cut from a weighty 21oz Loden wool, giving it the kind of substantial drape and weather resistance that rewards years of wear.
A deep back pleat allows ease of movement without sacrificing the clean, structured silhouette through the chest and shoulder, while the concealed placket keeps the front face uninterrupted. The coat is buggy lined with aubergine-lined sleeves, and finished with Cordings engraved buttons, two slanted pockets, and an internal zip pocket.
